"The House At Pooh Corner"
by A.A. Milne; adapted by Bettye Knapp
Christopher Robin has decided to run away with his friends Pooh, Piglet, Eeyore, Tigger and the rest. Probably they'll go to the North Pole or to the South Pole. For there is a dark, mysterious threat that he's to be sent away to Education. Nobody knows exactly what or where that is, and if he's sent to such a distant place, what can his friends possibly do without him?
So it's generally agreed that they'll run away. As the situation becomes clearer, Christopher Robin isn't quite so sure that running away is the answer.
Director for PTAG - Kathy S. Dinsmore
by Tom Smith
Attending audiences will find themselves in the simple surroundings of a convent where nuns get mixed up in silly shenanigans in between their devotions. Two nuns Sister Augusta and Sister Philamena spend their time repairing clerical clothes for the Church, all while under the watchful eye of Mother Superior. What the Mother doesn’t know is that the Sisters are also secretly making wine to sell to the locals in order to keep the convent solvent. Mistaken identities and investigation come into play when news reporters Sally and Paul go undercover as a nun and a priest to find out if the rumors of the side hustle are really true. And that combination of circumstances puts the farce into full swing. Added to the story is a Novice who possibly gets mistaken for someone she’s not; Father Chenille who suspects something is amiss but can’t get to the bottom of it and the groundskeeper George who is duped into helping with all the hi-jinks.
Autumn 2023 show announced soon.
