The plot of the fast-moving comedy revolves around the frantic efforts of five women who are trying desperately to salvage their church’s  25th anniversary production of the annual Christmas pageant.  A new and unwanted pastor arrives at the worst possible time.  Along the way, Baby Jesus disappears from the nativity set, the star for the treetop fails to light, and a feud develops about whose child will play the angel in the program.  To add to the confusion, contestants are violating the rules of the Fruitcake Bake-Off.  Long-held secret resentments boil to the surface and peace on earth seems to be an impossible wish.
